Cameron Touge Showdown #2

30 04 2008

Last year when we published our first video - Genting Sempah Uphill Battle between Mat Gen and Azuri, we have received lots of feedback from all around the world and it seemed that the video has become ‘the most watched ever’ videos above all of KANSEI video collections in YouTube. Some are good and some are bad. But all that’s is normal and we thank you all for pin pointing our weakness and respecting our creative juices ideas that flow along the way.

But recently, there’s some rumors being spread around that either Mat Gen or Azuri has crashed their car and died terribly in that accident - in touge most probably. Wow… We never had any idea on who was the first to started this rumors but God know both of them are safe, alive and kicking… And we wanted it that way… Always!

Mat Gen and Azuri is currently busy dealing with their daily routine. Jobs, family and God knows what… To prove that, here we post another video of Azuri (going solo) in Cameron touge downhill attack. Please note that this video was recorded on April 5th, 2008 and by the time of this writing, both of Azuri and Mat Gen is still alive, walking among us in this planet called earth. We would like it to sustain that way and we pray for their safety… Not only limiting to them, but to all of you, our readers as well… Amen!

Note: One thing we should warn you is that this video is kinda dark due to Azuri poor headlights adjustment and poor camera equipment. We know, we shouldn’t publish this to public but since we’ve promise earlier, here it is. If you cannot see anything on the video, just listen to the music… That’s all we can say. LOL! Enjoy…

Coming Up: Team KANSEI next expedition trip - Bukit Tinggi, Pahang on May 3rd, 2008 and will be join by members of EPMC and Geng Turbo. This time, it’s gonna be a daytime touge run of friendship between turbo charged cars and natural aspirated engine. Stay tuned…

A Drinks With Touge King and Hillraiders

2 04 2008

Finally, we had a chance to meet Touge King eye to eye (March 31st, 2008). What a very nice person he is we must say. He drove all the way from Ipoh down to Kuala Lumpur just to have a cup of drink with us. Now that’s really big and mean a whole lots of thing to us. His journey took him about one and a half hour before he reach KL in his fierce sounding new machine - Proton Satria Neo. TK drop by with his beloved girlfriend, ‘S’ and accompanied by Elaine (touge princess) and her boyfriend, Chris.

Our excitement just didn’t stop there, we was also catching up with Steven, second leader of the infamous touge team in Malaysia, Team Hillraiders! All hail Hillraiders! Since the very first start of KANSEI, big names of teams and individual has already came to our ears as they already grow legend. Team such as Hillraiders and TBS (Teluk Bahang Speeders) has their own unique story to tell to each of us as a beginner while individual like Ivan Khoong, Touge King, Zoggee and others has really shed some light on us with guidance and criticisms. We really appreciate every inch of its all. Without you guys, we will be no where near here…

Monster Lan Evo In Kuala Kelawang

7 02 2008

Monster Lancer Evolution III has invaded Kuala Kelawang touge. This mean that Azuri’s 4 minutes and a half time record can be erase in anytime. Full time 4WD can easily tackle each and every single corner in Kuala Kelawang. This guy is actively running on close circuit such as the Batu 3 old days and now are actively taking parts in Sepang International Circuit events. He’s name is Ariel and he is such a nice and humble person we’ve ever met.

Azuri has received a phone call from Ariel on one morning inviting him and other KANSEI fellow to rock out in Kuala Kelawang but due to the heavy traffic on day time plus some of the members had already have their family plan, we was just cruising along the way. It was only Burn and Azuri who are from KANSEI, while Ariel was joined by his friends, Saha. Anyway, here are some of the pictures we took over that beautiful morning…

Finally, we at KANSEI got the chance to meet up eye to eye with some of Kuala Lumpur touge enthusiast. We know, it is impossible to gather each and every single of enthusiast that live in KL area, but it is still good to know each of the faces that we’ve met. They came from various and different background and drive various cars that made us drool everytime we’d looked at it.

Some of the car that we remembered show up that night was Toyota Starlet Glanza, Toyota Starlet EP, Suzuki Swift GTI, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III, Proton Satria and some others. The gathering was made in Tom Yum & Seafood restaurant in Mutiara Damansara area with no touge runs involve since most of the person that came, has another plan on that very night plus it was raining.
